Replacing nylon gears on a Bafang hub motor

If you experience consistent grinding noise coming from the rear hub then it's possible that the motor gears need to be replaced. This is a relatively rare issue and if it happens is usually after the first year of ownership.
The video below shows how to open the motor and replace the gears. VoltBike do have those gears available.
